New PM Template variables can be used in formulas to overwrite control values depending on project status – new, new copy, edited – or to change format, ...

 

       PMNewProject        - adding new project (‘New’ button)

       PMNewCopyProject                - adding copy of a project (‘Copy to new’

       PMEditProject                - editing a project (‘Edit’ project)

       PMDisplayProject                - displayed project

 

 

 

Enhancement: PMPService - Subject and body of messages is now dynamic so can contain formulas to customize the email for each processed action/project

The messages in Messages worksheet (Subject and Body columns) can now be customized for each project change/action with formulas, it can be also used for troubleshooting – by displaying intermediate results of formulas determining if an emails should be sent.

 

Enhancement: PMPService Test application - new 'Do not send real emails' checkbox to prevent sending of real emails while checking/tuning the PMP settings

Sending of too many emails or avoiding to update the email recipients while changing the PMP settings can be avoided by checking new option in Test application ‘Do not send real emails’ – all actions/projects will be evaluated as usually with the final messages displayed in the Test application however no email will be sent. This can be used until the evaluation and format of messages is finalized, then also the email addresses should be verified.
