Released on June 30, 2020
In Open log files / Error dialog / Send error report. Each file is now truncated to last 10000 characters (tens of rows) to avoid potential issue with large log files posted.
When the user is choosing the columns to be indexed, a search functionality is available with Ctrl-F shortcut.
Due to addition of 'resources' in the Microsoft Project bridge, the exported files could not be opened under Project 2010. However, they worked fine with Project 2013, 2016, 2019 and 365. Now they should also open under Project 2010.
By the way, to ensure compatibility with MS Project 2010, durations are displayed as ‘days’ for groups and child tasks (they were displayed in ‘elapsed days’ so far). So we have the same Duration unit in MS Project 2010 and newer versions and also to have the same Duration unit used for all tasks in one project.
Notice that QDV displays always 'elapsed days' but Project displays 'days' which are Working Days.
Compatibility with Project 2010 has been restored but, please notice that, like Office 2010, Project 2010 is reaching its end-of-life. We won’t be able to guarantee that QDV remains compatible with this suite after October 2020 because Microsoft won’t provide us with support if we meet problems.
If you’re still using these tools, please consider the migration to either Office 2019 or Office 365, Project 2019 or Project 365 (which is part of Office 365).
