New: Function “Update Rows” can import sets from scratch

The function “Data / Update Rows” in the minutes lets you update rows having references to articles or sets. However, for sets you could not update from scratch because sets may need input parameters, so it worked only if you previously imported a set and wanted to update it.

For your information: The input parameters are stored in a workbook in the heading row of the set in the minutes.

Sometimes, you need no parameters to import a set (when it’s a set without workbook) so, in this particular case there is no reason why you could not import such sets from scratch.

You can now do it: just provide the reference of the set, the database path and the database name (you don't even have to provide the set depth). Then, call the “Update rows” function and your sets will get inserted.

If the matching sets expect parameters, you will have an error message and QDV will display an Excel file with the list of all errors found.
