Change: Improvement of the filling of Bills of Quantities

The speed of Compute Selling Prices has been significantly improved when used with a BoQ. When the BoQ contains many cells and GetDataFromMinute() functions are used.

Bug Fix: Invalid formula in overhead workbook

Issue (never ending loop) when exporting the overhead workbook to Excel containing QDV formulas which are not compatible with Excel.

Bug Fix: Descriptions kept when merging estimates in non-transparent mode

If you import a file created for a parent in the scheme of non-transparent communication, the descriptions are now kept in the minutes if the child exports all lines.

Bug fix: Some unwanted events were raised during report generation

The events were:

On_Custom_Read_From_Management
On_Custom_Write_To_Management

Bug fix: Endless report generation in some rare cases until Check and repaint was performed

In some rare cases, when the user performed Load Report, the report was automatically re-loaded repeatedly right after it was loaded. This stopped happening after Check and repaint.

Bug Fix: Import of child estimate in non-transparency overwrote the description

The recent function enabling the creation of estimates for parents with all minute lines didn’t work well when importing in the parent because the descriptions were overwritten.

Bug Fix: Save Columns Layout didn't work from the menu in the minutes view

The Save Column Layout function didn't do anything when invoked from the menu, it worked from the contextual menu only.

Change: Conditional formatting removed in non-transparent child estimate

When you create a child estimate in non-transparency mode, QDV now removes all conditional formatting from the minute in the child. This is needed because a conditional formatting formula may reference a column which does not exist in the child estimate. The child estimate comes with a basic layout in non-transparency mode.

New: Create file for parent with all lines of the minutes

When a child, in non-transparency mode creates the file to feed his parent, he can now decide if he provides the parent with basic information as before or if he wants to provide him with the complete detail of the minute lines, including his comments.

By default (when you answer no) QDV behaves as before meaning that the parent is provided with only one line in each minute for each breakdown item requested by the parent.
