New: A new check box in editing options let you prevent users from changing the structure of the WBS in progress layers

So far, in progress layers, when you attempted to delete a task move a task, alter a link or add an option in the WBS, you got a message saying that it would alter the comparison functions. You could accept the change however. Now, as an administrator, you can prevent this by ticking a check box in the editing options (the last check box).

When this check box is ticked, you can still move, delete... tasks as an administrator but a user can no longer do it. He'll get a clear message for each attempt.

Bug Fix: Estimates can now get downgraded to version 7.22, 7.21, 7.20 and 7.19

When you "Save as" an estimate under the new format QDV2024 you can now save it back to the old format which is common to 7.22, 7.21, 7.20 and 7.19. But of course you'll lose new features supported only by QDV2024 is any used in your estimate.

Bug Fix: DB of estimate and Overhead minute could be present in a non-transparent child estimate

When a non-transparent child estimate was created from a parent which contained the Database of the estimate and/or Overhead minute, these two features were activated in the child as well. This is not allowed in the non-transparency mode.

Change: Additional options of fields are no longer stored in the comments of the fields manager

WBS and minutes fields may contain some special options that describe an additional behavior. They are accessible from the context menu in the field managers:

Previously, these options were stored in the field comment, which made it a bit harder to read:

They are stored separately now, and the comment is not cluttered with the unrelated data anymore. During the upgrade or downgrade from/to an older estimate version, these options are not lost. They are correctly migrated to the proper format.
