Bug Fix: Problem when switching back to official from beta

Because of a change in a major component in recent betas (issued after official 7.17.1), re-installing an official version 7.17.1 after a beta leads in error messages and prevented the code editor from opening. With version 7.17.2 official the problem is solved.

Bug Fix: Macro used in ‘On_End_Compute_Costs’ events

When reaching the reports generator tab while having a macro in the On_End_Compute_Cost, this could bring the application idle (displaying endlessly ‘Paginating…’)

Bug Fix: F1 key didn’t work in new Search Module

The help manual didn’t display when hitting F1 key in the new search module.

Change: Editing time units in the overhead

The editing in workforce and time frame sheets is slightly made easier:

•The deletion of time units and number of hours per unit is now always possible.

•The editing of time unit to an invalid value or “” in a flexible time frame where the type <> “Time” is allowed now. This is deleted anyhow when leaving edit mode.

Change: Article manager – small filter display adjustments

After filtering a column and e.g. sorting by another column, the filter is removed, but it stayed displayed in filter combo box so was confusing, now it is cleared in such cases.

Change: Menus adapted according to new fields manager in the WBS

After the implementation of the new WBS fields manager, some old menus in the WBS had to be removed. They are removed now.

Bug Fix: Quick Access toolbar

Previous versions of QDV could by mistake allow a group to be referenced in the quick access toolbar, on top of the menus. The new component doesn’t support this anymore so when you had such menus in your bar, the new release of QDV failed a starting time. This is now solved automatically by removing the group.
