New: Can browse database of estimate by names or references

When using the autofill list in the reference field in an estimate having a database of estimate, you can tell QDV to use the ‘InternalArticleName’ field instead of the ‘Reference’ field to browse articles being in the database. This mode is activated from the ‘Options’ window, ‘Editing’ tab.

New: Cannot input similar names in the database of the estimate

So far, it was possible to use similar names in the ‘InternalArticleName’ column in the database of the estimate. Doubloons were checked only when the tab was changed (E.g.: when going back to the minutes tab). Now we check doubloons as soon as they are entered and we bring an error message.

New: Function button to select files

A new function has been added to the function buttons: Select External File

 

You can use it in the overhead, in the sets, and in the embedded workbooks. The goal is to browse the computer to select a file and place the returned full file name in a specific cell.
