With some anti viruses, particularly with Windows Defender the on-line update of QDV could stop with error messages. Then you had to retry and retry again until all files are accepted.
It was not requested to deactivate the anti virus but you had to restart QDV, answer "NO" to the question "an update is available, do you want to install it?" and you had to click again on the update button.
The update now retries immediately when such issue appear and it posts an error message after 3 unsuccessful attempts.
We rarely had the problem with the slow (HTML) download but now that we download our files asynchronously (which is much faster because we can have up to 250 files downloaded simultaneously) the problem is more likely to occur.
With this fix, the problem should no longer appear except when a file contains a real virus of course. We check all our files before publishing.
Notice: you may still meet errors when downloading this release 7.21.0928 because QDV downloads the new version with the installed tools. So the new tools being in the 7.21.0928 will be used to download the 7.21.0929.
In the estimate converter the max length of currency was extended from 3 to 5 characters. Longer names are truncated now to first 5 characters (before 3 only were allowed). So you can use KUSD or KEUR for example, directly in the converter.
