This is the first release of QDV 2025 (7.25.0001) which is version 7.24.1177 with added documentation as issued March 23, 2025.

In this release, we have worked mostly on performance and re-factoring of the application: most of the components have been re-factored and by the way translated from VB .NET to C# to prepare QDV for the move from .NET Framework to .NET Core (the new Open Source Microsoft Framework which promises better performance and flexibility). QDV has been adapted to support QDV 365 which is the new server side of the product. This enables saving estimates directly to a central database instead of saving to files. QDV 365 will be available in the coming months, we already have a beta version.
Another important enhancement is the Artificial Intelligence Helper. It is based on ChatGPT from Open AI and let you request help in natural language (so far, 4 languages are supported - EN, FR, ES, DE)
Average columns in the WBS are now supported. This is a convenient way to display homogeneous figures in your selling prices while keeping the consistency of the prices. You can link several tasks which are supposed to be aligned and QDV will calculate average figures for these tasks automatically.
You can now sort the nomenclature view on any numeric field having a sum (totals).
QDV 2025 also brings a lot of enhancements which are listed below.
