This is the first release of QDV 2026 (7.26.0001) which is version 7.25.1214 with added documentation as issued May 19, 2026.

If you need a beta version which comes with more recent features than the ones in the official, you can always get it here: http://www.iaes-software.com/downloads/Setup_QDV_7_Beta.exe
If you want to install an older official version, you can adapt the link by adding the desired major and minor version at the end. E.g.: for version 7.25.3, use http://www.iaes-software.com/downloads/Setup_QDV_7_25_3.exe
The current official version is now fully compatible with QDV 365 (the web environement of QDV), allowing storage of estimates into a centralized database instead of QDV files.
This year we worked to prepare for a major upgrade: the migration to Microsoft's new .NET environment (.NET 10), an open-source framework that is significantly faster and more powerful than the .NET Framework 4.8 used by QDV.
This migration required a complete translation of the application into C#, as many critical libraries were written in VB.NET. The C# translation is now complete and stable, but for security reasons, we chose not to release it in the official 2026 version, which still uses libraries written in VB.NET.
Upcoming beta versions (7.26.1215 and higher) are entirely written in C# and ready for adaptation to .NET 10.
QDV 2026 also brings a lot of enhancements which are listed below.
