This is the first version 7.20 which is version 7.19.769 with added documentation as issued June 5, 2020.

 

Warning for Windows 7 users: Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft and we have encountered several issues with this O.S. since the end of support in January 2020. We cannot guarantee that QDV will work under this system. Please migrate as soon as possible and get Windows 10.

This official version brings several enhancements which are listed below and a new module.

This new version also brings a new module (available to users of the Ultimate Edition): QDV Tools for Excel. It is intended to provide interactive tools to exchange data between QDV and Excel. So far it has 1 user interface:

 

•It is called Mapping Tool. It will let you map a WBS or a list of the overhead of an estimate into any kind of Excel document. You can breakdown figures coming from QDV into any line of the Excel workbook using percentages or discrete values. This is the perfect tool for a Pricing team because it keeps a permanent link between the estimate and the Excel document. So you don't have to adapt your Excel document when changes are made under the linked estimate.

 

 

To activate this new module just click this button on your desktop: and start Microsoft Excel. You'll find a QDV tab in the ribbon:

 

 

Your need Microsoft Excel 2010 or greater to use this feature.
